We can't wait to see the final result at the Helicopter Factory in Washington DC!

Currently under construction, this 28,000 square foot site will be transformed from a surface parking lot into six lofty row houses with a total of 15 units.

Two sizable units will be infilled into the existing historic warehouses in the rear of the development. The whole development will be tied together with a central courtyard and residential parking,

 Construction is wrapping up at the historic Central Savings Bank in the heart of Downtown Baltimore. Urban Design Group is proud to have worked with Poverni Sheikh Group in transforming this long vacant building into a vibrant mixed-use space. Our mission was to maintain the historic nature of the site while also providing modern amenities for all commercial and residential tenants. 


The upper floors will become 24 apartments, ranging from studios to two-bedroom units. The ground floor has been fitted out for David and Dad's restaurant and CorCycle Studio.

Construction is under way at the Pabst Brewery building in Federal Hill, Baltimore. Urban Design Group produced the tenant fit-out for cyber security company ZeroFox while maintaining the historic facade of the building.

The airy design allows for an open office concept, while also highlighting existing materials, including exposed brick and wood columns. Construction will be completed by April 2016.

Artisan pizza parlor &pizza is opening its first location in the heart of Federal Hill!  With 14 locations so far, they are building a reputation for their gourmet crafted pizzas as well as their commitment to community service. Since 2012, the company has worked with more than 500 local and national charities!

Urban Design Group worked closely with &pizza to fit their unique style into a double height space at the base of a multi-family apartment building on Charles Street. We are excited to see how they will bring their energy into our expanding urban fabric!

Construction is under way for the development of a historic helicopter factory in Washington DC. In partnership with Brick Lane Real Estate and Brook Rose Development, Urban Design Group designed the 28,000 square foot area to achieve a total of 15 units. This includes six industrial style row houses, with a total of thirteen units to infill a current surface parking lot. 


The rear portion of the lot will preserve the existing two warehouses and renovate them into two expansive units, the largest being 5,100 square feet. An additional building dating back to 1945 will be partially demolished and transformed into an outdoor landscaped area.

We are excited to see the finished product coming together at the Merchant Hill Townhomes. Urban Design Group helped design six phases of development for an entire city block in Brewers Hill. 

These four story single family units showcase large industrial windows and open floor plans to create a bright and airy living space.

Urban Design Group is thrilled to be a part of the Duke Reality team that is bring Blueprint Robotics to Baltimore. We completed the tenant fit-out for a 200,000-square-foot warehouse on Broening Highway. The revolutionary housing manufacturing company will begin to move in this spring.

Blueprint Robotics is introducing ground breaking techniques using robotics to fabricate houses in panels that can then be rapidly shipped and assembled on site. Such a construction technique has the ability to reduce wasted raw material by 50%!

 We are excited to break ground for the new National Apartmrtment development. Located across the street from the historic Natty Boh Tower, this 60 unit apartment building was able to maintain the existing National Bohemian brewery vat building foundation.

The last brick details are going up for this new mixed-use apartment building in the heart of Federal Hill. 


The design was influenced by the surrounding historic architecture through a saw-tooth corbeling, but with a modern touch of black brick. Construction will be wrapping up in mid-June.
